DANCE CLASSES.
JAZZ
At NPS, students learn Jazz under the Australasian Dance Association (A.D.A.) syllabus. We have two streams of Jazz training Pre-Primary to Majors grade work and Open Classes. In grade work classes children will be assigned to their grade according to their age and skill. At all levels our Jazz Training is current & fun! Learn rhythm, kicks, spins, leaps, turns and all that is pivotal to any dancer.

At NPS, students learn Tap under the Australasian Dance Association (A.D.A) syllabus. We have two streams of Tap training Pre-Primary to Majors grade work and Open Classes. In grade work children will be assigned to their grade according to their age and skill. If your child wants to learn to tap, but does not want to participate in exams or eisteddfods, then Open Classes are the classes for you.
ballet
At Nadia’s Performance Studio, students learn ballet under the Australasian Dance Association (A.D.A.) syllabus. We have two streams of Ballet training Pre-Primary to Majors grade work and Open Classes. Our grade students can complete exams all the way up to the Teacher’s Diplomas. At all levels our ballet training will improve your child’s strength, grace, musicality and flexibility.
hip hop
A blend of locking, popping, break and low to the ground hip hop. We have 4 Hip Hop Troupes, B-Boyz Hip Hop classes, and Open Hip Hop Classes for all ages from 5 years up. Our Hip Hop Troupes are taught by Jayden Rodrigues. Subscribe to his YouTube dance tutorials!
contemporary
Performed bare feet, Contemporary teaches the dancer to really use the ground and their core strength in this expressive style of dance. Interesting to watch, this style really strengthens and opens a dancer’s flexibility, muscle endurance and performance techniques. We also have an Open Contemporary class on offer to all dancers.
LYRICAL
Lyrical is an expressive style of dance that blends ballet, jazz and contemporary styles to express the lyrics of a song. This is a very graceful and sometimes emotional dance style. Lyrical Troupes are selected from our Grade Ballet students and like all our Troupes is on an invitation only basis. We also offer Open Lyrical classes.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Inspired by all the great shows of Broadway, these classes combine singing, dancing and acting training. Our Musical Theatre students will learn how to increase their vocal range, sing as a chorus, and express lyrics through drama and dance as they rehearse popular show tunes to create show-stopping numbers!
ACROBATICS
At NPS we have an Open Age Acrobatics Troupe of selected students who demonstrate great acrobatic skill. They perform in eisteddfods and the annual dance concert. To learn ACROBATICS from our expert teachers, take a Dance Cirque or Open Cheer class!

These classes are lead by World Champion acrobatic tumbler Miss Liz Srbinovski. Our Dance Cirque classes will train each student to increase their strength, flexibility, balance and acrobatic skills. Students will learn a variety of techniques including aerial, silks, lyra, juggling and more. Acrobatically talented students in these classes will be invited to form the Acrobatics Troupe.
